As an aid in prevention of deaths due to coccidiosis in chickens under conditions of mild exposure: 0.01% to 0.0125% of nicarbazin.
As an aid in prevention of deaths due to coccidiosis in chickens: 0.0125% to 0.015% of nicarbazin.
In starter and grower feeds, as an aid in prevention of deaths due to coccidiosis in chickens up to 12 wks of age: 0.020% of nicarbazin.
As an aid in preventing deaths due to coccidiosis while immunity to this disease is developing in replacement chickens, 8 wks of age or over: 0.008% of nicarbazin from 8 wks of age or over, until birds are moved to laying house.
NOTE: Average use level in broiler birds is 0.0125% of nicarbazin.
Feed as sole ration.
It is recommended that a premix be made before final incorporation in complete feed. Mix 25 kg/225 kg of feed ingredient and use resulting 2.5% premix as follows:
0.008%: 3.2 kg 2.5% premix/metric tonne
0.010%: 4.0 kg 2.5% premix/metric tonne
0.0125%: 5.0 kg 2.5% premix/metric tonne
0.020%: 8.0 kg 2.5% premix/metric tonne
