Growing swine - Use complete feeds containing lincomycin at the following dosage levels as sole ration:
Where pigs have already begun to show signs of disease, provide 110 g lincomycin base/tonne (110 mg/kg) of complete feed for 21d, or until signs of disease (watery, mucoid or bloody stools) disappear, then reduce to 44 g lincomycin base/tonne (44 mg/kg) and continue for 28d. Repeat with above dosage regime if swine dysentery symptoms reappear.
Treatment level: Add 2.5 kg/tonne (1,000 kg) complete feed [110 g lincomycin base/tonne (1,000 kg)].
Control level: Add 1.0 kg/tonne (1,000 kg) complete feed [44 g lincomycin base/tonne (1,000 kg).

Swine treated at the recommended level of 220 g of lincomycin per tonne (220 mg/kg of complete feed), must not be slaughtered for use in food for at least 24 hours after the latest treatment with this drug.
